The agent creates a document from your Google Docs template and replaces the placeholders with the right information. You keep your usual layout.
Format an existing document
The agent inserts a table, an image or a page break, applies bullets and formats a paragraph or a passage of text. It can also add a tab to the document.

The agent reads a document's content, tab by tab, along with its list of comments. It then summarizes it for you in the conversation.
Open a Word or Markdown deliverable in Google Docs
A Word, Markdown or text file produced by an agent opens in one click in Google Docs, converted to Google format. This feature uses your workspace's Google Drive connection.

Connect Google Docs to Agentova
- Create your Agentova workspace, then open the AI Brain, Integrations tab.
- Search for Google Docs and click “Connect”.
- Authorize access on the Google Docs sign-in page. The connection goes through Pipedream, our integrations partner.
Frequently asked questions
Can the agent start from my document template?
Yes. The create-from-template action copies your Google Docs document and replaces the designated placeholders with the information you give the agent. The template's layout is preserved.
Does the agent act on its own in Google Docs?
No. Google Docs actions run during a conversation, when you ask an agent to create, read or edit a document. Nothing is changed in Google Docs unless you ask for it in the chat.
Do I need to connect Google Drive as well as Google Docs?
To create and edit your documents, the Google Docs connection is enough. To open a Word or Markdown file produced by an agent in Google Docs, Agentova uses the Google Drive connection.
Can I connect multiple Google Docs accounts?
Yes. Multiple Google Docs accounts can be connected to the same workspace, depending on your plan. Agents use the one you set as the default, and you can change that choice at any time.
How do I disconnect Google Docs?
Open the AI Brain, then the Integrations tab, and remove the Google Docs account. Agents then no longer have access to its data or its actions.
