Post an update in a channel
Ask an agent to post a message in the channel of your choice, for example a recap you wrote together in the chat. It can also reply in the thread of an existing message.
Message a colleague
The agent finds a member of your Slack workspace by email address, then sends them a direct message or writes to a group. The message goes out without you switching tools.
Find what was said
The agent searches for a message, reads a channel's history or a thread's replies. It then summarizes the discussion for you in the conversation.
Create a reminder
The agent creates a Slack reminder for you or for a colleague. Useful so you never forget a follow-up agreed on during the exchange.
Organize your channels
The agent creates a channel, invites members to it, changes its topic or description, and archives a channel that is no longer needed.

Connect Slack to Agentova
- Create your Agentova workspace, then open the AI Brain, Integrations tab.
- Search for Slack and click “Connect”.
- Authorize access on the Slack sign-in page. The connection goes through Pipedream, our integrations partner.
Frequently asked questions
Which channels can the agent post in?
In the channels and conversations the connected Slack account has access to. You tell the agent which channel or person to target, and it posts the message at your request.
Does the agent act on its own in Slack?
No. Slack actions run during a conversation, when you ask an agent to post, search or organize.
Can I connect multiple Slack workspaces?
Yes. Multiple Slack workspaces can be connected to the same Agentova workspace, depending on your plan. Agents use the one you set as the default, and you can change that choice at any time.
Does Agentova reply to messages received on Slack?
No. Agentova doesn't install a bot that replies in your channels. An agent posts, searches or organizes in Slack when you ask it to in the Agentova chat.
How do I disconnect Slack?
Open the AI Brain, then the Integrations tab, and remove the Slack account. Agents then no longer have access to its data or its actions.
