Frequently asked questions
Does my Excel file need to be on OneDrive?
Yes. Excel actions go through the connected Microsoft account and apply to the workbooks in its OneDrive. A file stored only on your computer is not accessible to the agent.
Does the agent write VBA macros?
No. It reads and writes values in your sheets and tables; it doesn't create or run macros in your workbooks.
Can you automate Excel with Agentova?
Excel actions run during a conversation, when you ask an agent to read or edit a workbook. Agentova doesn't monitor your workbooks and writes nothing to them unless you ask.
Can I connect several Microsoft Excel accounts?
Yes. Several accounts can be connected to the same workspace, depending on your plan. The agents use the one you set as default, and you can change that choice at any time.
How do I disconnect Microsoft Excel?
Open the AI Brain, then the Integrations tab, and remove the Microsoft Excel account. The agents then lose access to your workbooks.
